Detroit roots
Randi grew up in Detroit with supportive parents and a good home. Her love of photography and the alt scene grew into a career, and she now travels for photography gigs.
She is mouthy, direct, and rarely leaves you guessing where you stand. Give her five minutes, and she will probably tell you whether she likes you.
DiverseCity Modeling Collective
Randi owned DiverseCity Modeling Collective, an alt modeling agency that welcomed women, men, gender-fluid and nonbinary models, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
The work was tastefully done. DiverseCity never featured gratuitous, demeaning, degrading, or derogatory scenes, shots, or poses.
When its parent company abruptly closed, Randi had little choice but to shut the collective down at short notice. She still hopes to reopen it someday. Sienna joined shortly before the closure and has been the subject of quite a few of Randi’s shoots.
The third night at Technocolor
After setting up a temporary home in Toronto, Randi visited Technocolor on N30N’s third night performing there. She saw him dance and knew she had to shoot a set with him.
The three sets she has released featuring N30N are the most popular on her photography site.
On a later trip back to Detroit, she brought N30N with her for a week. Their most recent photo shoot took place there, and she introduced him to her friend Carlos. The trip happened shortly before Jace reached out to N30N.
Familiar faces
Randi met Carlos three years ago at a fundraiser. They had both donated artwork, and their pieces were displayed beside each other. A conversation turned into a friendship.
They run in the same social circles and can easily pick up a conversation when they meet, without needing to make weekly plans.
Evan McClain, the 31-year-old lead vocalist of the metalcore band Glass Crown, is a childhood friend. Randi is asexual and aromantic, but she jokes—with a little truth in it—that Evan is the only guy who “almost” turns her on.
