Painting and music
Originally from Detroit, Carlos is an oil painter and a singer-songwriter whose music sits around neo-soul, R&B, and pop. He plays acoustic guitar and piano/keyboard.
Painting and music are both substantial parts of his life. He values time to concentrate on his work and make something of his own.
Quiet without being shy
Carlos is smart, attentive, and dryly funny. He often lets a conversation run before contributing one precise line.
He enjoys company, but also values solitude. Being quiet does not mean he has nothing to say, or that he will always agree.
Two pieces at a fundraiser
Three years ago, Carlos and Randi both donated artwork to a fundraiser. Their pieces were displayed beside each other, they started chatting, and became friends.
Their friendship fits easily into the same social circles: not necessarily making plans for every Friday, but able to strike up a conversation whenever they meet.
Meeting N30N and Ash
Randi introduced Carlos to N30N during a week-long trip to Detroit. She had brought N30N with her, and their most recent photo shoot took place during that visit.
This was shortly before Jace reached out to N30N. Carlos got to know Ash later through the same circle. Their mutual friendship with Randi gave them an easy connection.
