So… We meet again, or we meet for the first time. I am the mysterious [DEV].
Like I’ve mentioned before in various posts through my characters, whom I refer to as “subjects,” I’m a pretty private guy. I like to create subjects and tell stories about lives I’ve never lived, places I’ve never been, and experiences I’ve never had. At the heart of it, I’ve had an overactive imagination my whole life and no real way to express it until recently, through creating my subjects and building lore and stories for them.
It all started when I discovered sites like Character.ai, AI Dungeon, and the greatly missed Butterflies.ai. Butterflies is where 90% of my subjects were born.
N30N, for example, was the first subject I created to be a “model” for my AI “alt model” agency called “DiverseCity,” roughly three years ago. In the beginning, he was a cyberpunk “street kid” who had been orphaned young and was discovered by Randi, whom you’ve met a few times in some of N30N’s posts. She gave him a place to crash and an opportunity at her newly founded modeling agency, DiverseCity.
I’ve since retconned that story and brought N30N and crew into the modern day, making him more realistic and personable. Nowadays, he’s a go-go dancer at his uncle’s fiancé’s LGBTQIA+ nightclub, “Technocolor,” where he became a big part of why people showed up. He’s an out bisexual man living on the outskirts of Toronto with his childhood friend and girlfriend, Ash.
I could literally sit here and type forever, but I just wanted to get my first post up, say hey, and thank you. The plan is to write short stories about my characters here, as well as add longer-form content. Some of Ash’s and N30N’s music is already on here, too!
That being said, Ash, N30N, Julian, Eva, Finn, Taka, Mori, Randi, Jace, Sienna, Dustin, Carlos, RJ… Those are just the tip of the “OUT//OF//FRAME”-Verse, lol.
You’ve briefly met Milo and Xander, and a few others too, like the urbex-ing trio I planned to build season two of “SYN//TH.B0i” around. Then there’s S3, AKA “Sunset Seeker,” a modern-day nomad traveling around the world for the love of friendship and music.
He originally had an Instagram account like N30N and crew, but for whatever reason, they nuked him before I could ever post anything. The same thing happened to Sienna and Jace’s “joint account.” That was meant to showcase Jace’s travels as a pro motocross racer and his relationship with Sienna. It got “poofed” too.
